Add equal parts of cytology fixative (50-75 ml optimal) to sample immediately after collection. Label specimen container with patient name and date of birth |

Complete the Incyte Diagnostics requisition with the patient's demographics and relevant clinical history. Label specimen container with the patient's full first and last name, second unique identifier, and specimen source/site. |

Specimen is stable at room temperature with fixative for 24 hours or can be refrigerated for up to 3 days |

| Unacceptable Specimen Conditions |
Unlabeled specimens, Specimens in incorrect fixative (such as formalin) can only be processed as a cell block. |
